Automation ROI calculator
This calculator estimates the time and financial value a manual-task automation could return, using your assumptions.
Everything runs in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere and no value is stored.
One figure assumed for you: 4.33 weeks in a month. What it costs to build and run is priced with you when we scope the task.
Add up everyone who touches the task in a normal week.
Salary plus employer cost, in US dollars.
Leave the judgement calls with a person.
Method
Hours freed a month = weekly team hours × 4.33 × automatable share. Saved a month = hours freed × loaded hourly cost. Value of the time freed a year = saved a month × 12.
How to read the result
Loaded hourly cost means salary plus employer cost. Using salary alone is the commonest way this calculation flatters itself. The result does not prove execution quality or that every saved hour becomes productive work.
Choose a repeatable task and define human review before building. Read about automation and AI and calculating automation ROI.
Frequently asked questions
Is loaded cost the salary?
No. Add employer cost to salary.
Can every task be automated?
No. Keep sensitive decisions and human review explicit.
Do you receive my numbers?
No. The calculator runs in your browser only.
Does the number include the cost of building it?
It does not. The number is the value of the time freed; we price the build with you when we scope the task.
